💡 Why "EthioBlackMarket"?
Our name is a fun throwback to our early days, before Ethiopia transitioned to a free market exchange system. What was once called the "black market" rate is now simply the free market rate – determined by supply and demand in P2P markets.
We kept the name as a piece of our history, but make no mistake: we display completely legal, free market rates that reflect real market conditions in Ethiopia's modern forex landscape.
